I LOVE Newport Hair Design!

I went there for the first time recently and I have never had better service. Wendi was my hairstylist and I loved her :) She was very honest with me about my poor poor hair and how dry it was and that I needed some SERIOUS TLC. haha I came in with an awesome Group On deal and Wendi went above and beyond with the conditionings and process we are taking in order to get my hair healthy and pretty again. I really liked how honest she was with me and I liked that she cared enough about my hair to tell me that simply conditioning it once and coloring it was going to ruin my hair because it could not handle the dye yet. So now after 3 conditionings I am getting my hair dyed and I cannot wait because after all my fun visits to the salon Wendi has come up with new cool ideas for my hair! :)

THE STAFF:
Is amazing, besides the fact that Wendi is GREAT at what she does she is also very easy to talk to, friendly, and outgoing along with the rest of the staff that I have met. Everyone is super nice and very welcoming.

Frankie is so great, he makes sure you are always comfortable and happy bringing you coffee, water, tea, CAKE!!, mints, etc.... im not kidding they are so sweet and nice there and always make you feel comfortable. Something as simple as asking if you want coffee or freshly baked cookies or cake makes a big difference in your experience.

Frank has been doing my conditioning while Wendi is out of town and I am so happy. Although, he has just been conditioning my hair he of course has also gone above and beyond. I went in on a Friday night (Which is also awesome because they are really flexible with times. I have a very busy work schedule and appointments are so flexible that it hasnt caused a problem at all!) anyway, I went on a Friday night and Frank made sure that he conditioned my hair and styled it so that I could go out and have a good time since it was Friday! He was so sweet and fun to talk too as well.

I am very VERY happy with my hair after going there for a few weeks. My hair has definitely never looked better and I have not even applied the color yet! It looks so healthy and my hair cut was great! Wendi is awesome and I am definitely going to be going to her for as long as I can! Frank and Frankie are so sweet and attentive and always smiling. I really really loved it here and I recommend it to ANYONE. :)

Heard about how great this place was and had to check it out for myself! I am a very skeptical person when it comes to sitting down to get my hair cut, but everyone made me feel so comfortable.

ASK FOR LINDA!!!! She is by far one of the most amazing women I have met in general. I cant even start to tell you how great my hair cut turned out. I am a water polo player with damaged hair and she brought it back to life with a great conditioning pack, color, and hair cut. I have never had such a big smile after a cut job. She has been in the business for 32 YEARS and is NATIONALLY RATED. You cant get any better than that.

I am very particular about my hair, like most ladies, I would assume, we dont want JUST anybody touching our hair in fear that they might mess it up by cutting it too short or not the right hair style we would like. I wanted to do something completely different than what I have wich is dark chocolate brown. I went to NHD and Frank was my hair stylist.
The vision I had was to go full red head but with my dark brown color hair, i didnt want my hair to get badly damaged. Frank suggested we do red highlghts first, then keep making my hair lighter till I can be a full red head. I APPREACIATED that he told me the truth so much. BECAUSE most people that I have gone through will just dye your hair not telling you that if you go over 2 shades lighter or darker it can potentionally damage your hair. I dont have enough words to describe what a great experience I had at Newport Hair Design and I absolutely love my hair the way it looks.
The front desk has amazing customer service!!! They are super friendly and they make you feel right at home, even the interior of the salon looks really comfortable and wholesome. It smells amazing too, it doesnt smell dirty like most salons I have gone to in the past.
Also, I did my nails with KITTY and I especially like her because she speaks English and Spanish, and I spoke both those languages too and when I would go to ANY OTHER NAIL PLACE I would feel very uncomfortable because they would start talking in their own language in front of me, and I couldnt help to feel that they were talking about me :( With KITTY on the other hand I was so happy and comfortable and she does AMAZING art work, I'm obssesed with hello Kitty and she did a 3D bow on my nail with HK and it loooookss amazing, all my friends ARE jealous. THIS PLACE IS HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED, MITZI HERMANN APPROVES THIS MESSAGE.

If your like me and you LOVE your hair to death and dont want it messed up, believe me when I say that I TRUST FRANK, the owner, with my hair!!  He is amazing and works wonders. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! also make sure that KITTY does your nails, I promise you will LOVE THEM!

I severely messed up my roots at home and found an ad for Newport Hair Salon on Craigslist. I called and they got me in right away, within hours. I was helped my Itzel, who was very friendly and really understanding. My hair turned out fantastic, she totally fixed my mess up. The owner saw that I was under the weather and made sure I was comfortable and made me some tea!!! The place is beautiful and so comfortable. I have a nail appt there over the weekend and I cannot wait!
